  • Local, state, regional and national psychological associations
  • Local, state, regional and national social work associations

Where Seasons stands

Seasons Clinical Institute is in the process of applying for NBCC approval. Until approval is granted, our trainings are not offered for CE credit, and participants receive a certificate of attendance. We will update our course pages as soon as that changes.

Women’s mental health is a rewarding place to grow your skills. Perinatal and midlife clients are on almost every caseload in Southwest Missouri.

Always check the source

This page is a summary for convenience, not legal advice. Rules change, and your licensing board is the final authority on which hours count. Read the current rule at the Code of State Regulations (20 CSR 2095-1.064) and contact the Missouri Committee for Professional Counselors with questions.

Common questions

How many CE hours do Missouri LPCs need?

At least 40 hours before the license expires, with at least 20 formal hours and no more than 20 self-study hours. One hour is 50 minutes.

Do online courses count as formal CE in Missouri?

The rule does not address online courses directly. Live, interactive trainings with a certificate of attendance are generally treated as formal CE; confirm self-paced courses with the Committee.

Does Missouri require ethics hours for LPCs?

The current counselor CE rule (20 CSR 2095-1.064) does not list a required ethics or topic-specific minimum. Other Missouri licenses, such as social work, have their own rules.
